I decided to participate in another seminar 11/8/09 in Phoenix, mostly so that I could really keep my mind off of the volunteer until and for only the 10 minutes requested. It worked, I was able to duck at exactly the right time. I visualized the monitor dancing with activity and heard the beeps in cosmic rhythm (smell and taste were not forthcoming). I had to resist my urge to use my own words and emotions briefly at first. I spoke the mantra "I am affecting Christine's brainwaves" aloud and to myself. It was very clear (to me) that I was pulled back into focus by the waves of intention of others speaking those words at the same time as well. They really called me into the waves. I felt so lucky. Not that I need proof, but there it was yet again.
This is an aside, but relates. When my children were in nursery school, the teachers (we had three per 18 kids) would routinely have parent teacher conferences twice a year and as needed. Well, my second son is very gregarious and a comfort to all who meet him, and this was even more true as a little kid. The teachers decided to call a conference for us, but it was scheduled about 10 days out. During these days, naturally all of us teachers and parents were considering this child and the concerns. By the time we had the conference we were all going on about how the behavior of my son had shifted. The teachers said it very often happens like that, where simply the act of setting up a conference sets change of the kids in motion.
